Wouldn't the losing cars from each round have the same amount of points as the other losers from their round?

Hi KandO,
The way I doing this race, when a car wins it's race, it continues on, just like normal. But the car that loses, goes into a bracket also. So after the first round of a 32 car field, there is a 16-car winners bracket and a 16-car losers bracket...and both those brackets are raced off. That way, 1st place through 32nd will be determined...40 pts for first, 39 for 2nd, etc

First round of the Sunday race is completed...and it went as expected...all of the higher seeded cars won, with the exception of the 16 vs 17 race...JDC442'S Asphalt Assault beat Weber Calvin's Mini.
Yesterday, I raised the start gate 1" between rounds, so the track got steeper later in the rounds. Today, the start gate will be lowered 1" between rounds...I'll keep you posted on who progresses and the final results later on!
