How do you do acquire NASCAR bodies?
So I'll just put this out there - I was having a hard time finding anything NASCAR locally or on eBay that fit the car type I was looking for or fit my budget. I contacted the host to get clarification and he said any American muscle car painted / marked up like NASCAR works. So instead of doing a car by a well known driver I'm doing two cars (84 Firebird - 2015 Camaro SS) painted up like a privateer racer might do.

- They make some nice stuff... I got a few slot car chassis from them in the past. — Stoopid_Fish_Racing
- the thunderjet bodies have posts — dr_dodge
- the vette I did dropped right on a lower, same holes as the rivots — dr_dodge
- nice... — Stoopid_Fish_Racing
- ultra rage lower — dr_dodge
Coming out pretty good. Stoopid hood scoop, but it is the fastest model. I think Willy would approve

The Hot Wheels '87 Buick Regal GNX is a good casting from the 80s to use. It doesn't have the huge hood scoop like the Monte Carlo.
