Variation Jason is coming out to help me with the races this Sunday. I might have some other friends head out as well, we'll see. My boys would just get in trouble and super dirty out there!
I got a Flip video for Christmas, I'll try and shoot some video with it. Wish I had one of those new Hot Wheels camera cars!
The red Testarossa looks like a serious racer, and I've heard good things about the FTE Way 2 Fast.
Is that Boogie Van a Johnny Lightning?
Yes--a Boogie Van! Picked it up at Lightning Fest. Wouldn't stay on Jason's track but was way in the lead both times when it came off. I have some high hopes for this one. It should pick up some serious speed on the down hill slope.
The rest are garage sale pick ups. The Testarossa was out of the package and mixed in with some other HWs and non name brand cars and I couldn't spend the $3.00 fast enough to get this car as I had never seen a red version. The longer I make my track, the better it performs. Much better performance for me than the black one.
In my testing on my track, the Vandetta was the fastest and took home the championship after an 11 bracket/32 cars each bracket race off. It won over that Testarossa. Tested some of these on Jason's track and the Way 2 Fast FTE was the cream of the crop there.
Ok gang, opinion time from my mail in entries
Ok if I race? My issue with racing on my own track is if I win. I feel guilty to some degree.
But the other side is, hey, that's racing. I have almost no time on the 50' track other than running a few cars down once I had it set up.
your opinions please?
ps. as of tonight we have 20 stock and 10 modifieds (not including mine and assuming Jason is bringing two each)
