Matchbox Superfast "Lace/Starburst Wheels" **Now Full**
Saturday, February 15th, 2025Clay and Cyle @One31Diecast Racing will be turning 40 years old, what better way of celebrating than racing 40 year old castings! One of our favorite castings the Matchbox Superfast from year 1985!

Rules & restrictions
- Stock entries only
- 57g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.29n. wide - Seamless Track
- Limit 1 entry per person in a household
- Retail axles and wheels only.
- Dry lube or Wet lube - Don't drip on the track please
- Must be “Lace/Starburst wheels” Matchbox Superfast Series - See Pictures Below
- No “Laser wheels”
- No sanding wheels down
- Matchbox Superfast Casting from year 1984-1986
- 32 Max Entries (Contact Host to be a backup Racer)
- Logo Stickers are encourged
- $5.00 Entry Fee – Pays for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Plaques
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 2/8/2025.
Qualifing is scheduled for 2/15/2025. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 2/15/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host pending no life events happen etc.

Track
Racing will be on the One31 Diecast Racing. View track profile and specs
Race format and scoring
This will be a single-elimination 32-36 car tournament. Cars will move on in the bracket with the fastest time of 2 laps. Cars will alternate lanes between each race. Head to Head Racing
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Bracket seeding will be based on the fastest average time of 2 qualifying laps (one on each lane).
Penalties/DNF
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches.

But could you please clarify how the brackets will be set up, IE how the qualifying times will be used.

- Lane 1 Lap Time (2.220) Lane 2 Lap Time (2.222) = Average Qaul Time would be (2.221). Fastest Average Time to slowest will be Seeded 1-32 and than the bracket will run. Fastest time will be used when head to head racing starts — Clay_One31_Diecast_Racing
