Matchbox Superfast "Laser Wheels"

Round 2 of the old school Matchbox superfast castings! Laser Wheels only no Starburst wheels, See pictures below

Rules & restrictions

• Stock entries only
• Limit 2 Cars per Household 
• 57g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.29in. wide - Seamless Track
• Retail axles and wheels only.
• Sanded wheels are fine
• Please No Coning the wheels = DQ
• Dry lube or Wet lube - Don't drip on the track please
• Must be “Laser wheels” (Matchbox Superfast Series)
• No Lace Wheels allowed
• Logo Stickers are encouraged
• 32 max entrees
• $5.00 Entry Fee per Car (1 car 5$ 2 cars 10$)– Pays for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Plaques
• $10 Return shipping Fee
• ($15/$20 total)

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 5/1/2025. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 5/9/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host per no Life events happen

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given out as gift cars.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Racing will be on the One31 Diecast Racing. Videos on Youtube 

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination 32 car tournament. The car will move on in the bracket that has the fastest time of 2 race laps. Cars will alternate lanes between each race. Head to Head Racing after qualifing/bracket seeding

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Qualifing/Bracket seeding - will be based on the fastest average time of 2 qualifying laps (one on each lane). IE (lane 1 - 2.200, lane 2 - 2.210, Avg qaulifing time would be 2.205). Seeding will be 1st-32nd.

Penalties/DNF

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race, but not advance in the bracket.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches.
