Middleweight Challenge!
Diggin' the "Half 2 Fast" project ... going to use the 1/16" axle tubes crossways under the back end of the engine, bend them out n' down about 30* as headers, [glue drying]... FTE Torpedos pick up's wheels... "lead" interior... pix to come.
Notice the yellow coupe's fender to base spacing... After a while it bothered me... tore it down... I found that the axle's JB Quick hit the fender's vertical axle pinchers underneath... by the time I removed them the yellow paint got grubby...
So on to the Leftovers... "Half 2 Fast" so far ;
Gonna get a black windshield... And yes C10... I have since channeled it a bit...
The "Half 2 Fast", 55.0 grams...
1/16" axle tubes as headers, a 3/8" strip under each valve cover and a 1" cross piece bent for the angled dumpouts...

A trimmed '34 Coupe's grill n' mill .
Mid Mill's fuel cell.
On a '29 Pick-upish base.
Drilling the rivets as I type .

'29 Pick-up, A-ok or Dumpin' A's base with JB weld holes drilled under the axle slots, cowl's lower edges filed, heated then spread to channel the body over the base...
'34 Coupe's grill n' mill, dash removed, the blower box filed to form dual carbs and the lower grill trimmed off to let the engine set level ;
The donar Way 2 Fast ;
Cowl's lower edge and the base's siderails filed for channeling... Pin cut in half on body and base [used dykes]... Rear body filed to tightly fit the rear bumpers ;

My 2nd favorite WAY 2 FAST body [Originals series is #1], '29 Pick-up base, front bumper straightened, Mid Mill fuel cell, '34 Coupe grill n' mill with the blower box modded to dual carbs, '69 vette's FTEs, fronts mounted down under ;

I got some cars from Rally Case and AMH-412 today, so I'm glad to see the numbers growing for this race!
I expect that Smitty's cars will be on their way soon...and I better get mine finished up too!

It's a good thing we are having less restrictions with the rules, Traction Event...
I never knew that Ferrari F40's were American Production cars! :) Of course, I don't think that Whipped Cream was ever a Production car either...
But, I don't really think it will matter...I just have to give you guys a hard time! :)
