Modified March Madness

I will be putting in for trophies that have not been distributed yet. For the previous 2 races.. i will be posting for modified races This year that should have tomorrow's date on them. For tracking purposes, only for people who won modified races  for their  stats.. Plus of course trophies being made for the super stock event in February. That being said, it's time for a Modified Only event at Elevation.
1:64 scale Cars only ! no trucks, no SUVs, no vans NO EXCEPTIONS! NO STRETCHING. NO BEARINGS. This will be a timed event and it will be Live. 2 entries per Racer @ $5.00 per entry. Plus 10 dollars for shipping if you want your cars back. I will have a checklist of every entry 2 track payments as I have lost track in the past. So if you have gotten away without paying Merry Christmas. This will not be the case in 2026. Custom paint is absolutely encouraged.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 80.99g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• No Limit of entries per household
• Whatever axles you want to you use & tubes are OK
• Make it fast. Don't Soul Glow the Lanes
• There will be no grace given... 80.99. Is it if you are over You are out. Weigh-ins before racing will be live.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 3/21/2026. You will have until Friday night the 27th and  I will be checking everything in and getting ready for weigh in on Saturday, don't be late. I will not wait for late entries. As this is a live event.Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 3/28/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date the trophy will be pre-made, and the plaque will be stamped out after the race is decided.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be looking good on the shelf at Elevation.

Race format and scoring

This will be a timed event. Everybody will be racing in the first round and depending on how many entries there are, we will go from there. But it will be business as usual. Fastest lap after lane swaps will move on.

Penalties/DNF

80.99 g limit, no grace.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race but will not proceed out of the first round.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Prizes

Many will enter, but only one will win a trophy in this event. Second and third will receive a medal. Price packs for 1st thru 5th podium placement
