More 50-foot track league races

Jobe recently announced the next mail-in tournament for late July - get the details - and I'm happy to announce on that same weekend there will be another set of fantasy league races on a 50-foot track!

Jobe has matched up his car collection with mine to put together a good selection of cars that he'll be racing on his 50-foot track in Texas. The cars racing in Texas will NOT be the exact same cars that have been run on my track here in Ohio, but the wins/losses that happen in Texas will change car ratings and records accordingly. That might come off as sounding a little weird at first but as I work to expand the league to other bigger and better tracks, the thought being it'll all average out in the long run. Plus in the future you'll have tools to look up car stats per track and so on.

This set of races on the Austin Diecast Drags track is somewhat of a trial to see if off-site league races will work and how well it will work. As players you won't see any changes or be required to do anything different than normal. The challenge here lies with the management of the racing and results, which sits squarely on me (and a little bit on Jobe).

These brackets will be scheduled in the coming weeks and the use of the long track will be denoted on the tournament details page but may not appear on car history pages. And we hope to have some photos of the track before the race date.

More details as they become available.

Sounds like fun.

I want to be there to yell A, B, C and D! I learned the super scientific method in Nashville, lol

Ha! I haven't even given Jobe a primer for that stuff yet. It's not *that* complicated...A means good, C/D means bad. Simple.
