Get ready for the ultimate vehicular showdown in the Transformers universe! The Cybertron Grand Prix is a high-octane racing event where Autobots and Decepticons, in their vehicle modes, will battle it out on the Elevation Trail at Lakeridge Heights. Expect thrilling races, unexpected twists, and maybe even a little inter-faction rivalry to spice things up. 

Here's a more detailed look:

The Setting: The Cybertron Grand Prix takes place on the Newly Refreshed, sprawling Elevation Trail, designed with input from both Autobot and Decepticon engineers. The track incorporates elements from both their homeworld and human technology, featuring terrain, jumps, and everything you’ve come to love about the Elevation Trail.

The Build: This event will feature a roster of classic Autobots and Decepticons that are modified to race at the Elevation Trail. Builders must CLAIM a transformer character and submit that character in ONE of its Alt modes. For example: if you choose Bumblebee, you can build a VW Beetle, a Camaro, or a Cybertronian style look-alike. I will NOT allow one of each as there is only ONE of each character. Each claimed character MUST be representative of that character’s paint/colour scheme; ie, don’t send me a Green Optimus Prime. However, if you plan on sending a Nemisis Prime, I will classify that as a separate character from the OG. I Expect to see a mix of speedsters and powerhouses, and if you wanna add some weapons…I won’t say no to that, as long as it fits the character. I would also like to see an even split between Autobots and Decepticons so this race will be open to 18 of each faction.

Wheels: any (rubber or plastic)

Lube: builders choice

Casting: post a pic for approval (real or fantasy) but you must claim your character and your entry must be represented in the correct colours of said character

Entry Limit: 18 Autobot, 18 Decepticon

The Stakes: Beyond bragging rights, the Cybertron Grand Prix is a competition for resources and territory. The winner will receive a chunk of the trail hewn into a block with the tournament logo on it and proclaiming for eternity that they were the one transformer who rose above all others, while the winning faction (Autobot/decepticon) gains access to a new energy source and fabulous new alt modes for Earth. 

The Rules: The race is not just about speed; it's also about strategy and utilizing special abilities to gain as many points as possible. Choose your build and character wisely as certain castings may have unique traits that will help them on the Trail. Your build doesn’t need to fit orange track, and if you plan on adding a trailer, keep it as close to 8 inches in length max. Heats will be run in groups of 3, and the draw for spots will be held at random. Regular trail scoring applies, so scoring as many points as possible will ensure safe passage into the next round. TINA will also be active to prevent excessive violence and maintain a semblance of fairness and order for all racers…Unless that is…you come in LAST…any or ALL racers who solely or together tie for the least amount of points after the first round will be judged and fed to the Sharkicons while being eternally memorialized at the Trail.

The Spectacle: Expect stunning visuals as the Transformers race, showcasing their impressive engineering and agility. The race will be broadcasted to both human and Cybertronian audiences at 905Diecast’s YouTube channel, captivating everyone with the blend of futuristic technology and classic Transformers action…

Fees & Entry: for those requiring their builds back, I am requesting the inclusion of at least $15 to cover return shipping. For those not requiring their builds back, your creations will be proudly displayed alongside my own until the robot revolution calls them back into active duty.

Dates & Deadline: This event is planned for early 2026 and will run for approximately 10 weeks. Builders should have their cars checked into the Trail no later than December 1st 2025. Please address all entries to: Adam Hutchings...DM for address
