National Super Truck Series

This is a NASCAR race truck themed event that will compete for points over 4 different tracks. The top 4 will race off for the championship.

Hosting Tracks:

1.     Treetops Raceway Park
2.     Bay City Diecast Racing
3.     Tiny Track Cars
4.     Funkerhouser Diecast Racing League

We have opened up registration due to the qualifying procedure.
   All trucks will get 2 qualifying attempts with the best lap time used. (at Treetops)
   The top 16 qualifiers will travel the 4 tracks accumulating points.
   The point system will be 5-3-2-1-0.
   The top 4 in points will compete in an 8-lap shoot-out for the championship.
   The non-qualifiers will compete in a non-qualifying tournament at Treetops Raceway Park.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• ONLY the following castings are eligible:
  • Any Racing Champions NASCAR Truck casting
  • Any Action Racing NASCAR Truck casting
  • Any Lionel NASCAR Truck Casting
  • Hot Wheels Chevy 1500 Race Truck
  • Hot Wheels Draftinator
  • Hot Wheels Circle Trucker
  • Hot Wheels Studebaker Race Truck
• No wheel well grinding. Same size wheels as stock required.
• No duplicate numbers. All numbers must be requested at sign up.
• No Sharpie numbers.

Trucks must be decaled in a NASCAR theme with a number.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 8/26/2023. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 9/2/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Race format and scoring

This will be a double-elimination tournament. Cars will accumulate points over a 4-lap race with the highest 2 points getters moving on.

Cars will be grouped so all cars will race against each other.

Penalties/DNF

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Prizes and sponsors are still being finalized.

$10.00 entry fee is required with your truck.

The winner of each series will win all the trucks competing in that tournament.
