Old school drag race! Make it fast!
Rules & restrictions
- Modified entries only
- 60g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Limit 2 entries per household
- Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
- Any Lube- keep the track clean
- Make it fast
- $5 Entry fee per person
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before 3/27/2026. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 3/29/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $7.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.
Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry
Track
Scale 1/8 mile 2 lane drag track. First mail in race on this new track.
Race format and scoring
Cars will be paired in the order they are received. Depending on the number of entries we will decide what the cut line will be.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

ATTN BUILDERS!
I was given the idea to run a weekly drag strip race like Bull of the Woods. Here is the basic idea I have so far.... The Winner of this event will be 'Top Fuel' for next week (or when I get enough cars to run a 8 car heat). The weekly drag races will be 8 cars, random draw, 1 pass in each lane, lowest total time moves on. The weekly winner then will face 'Top Fuel' to see who stays and becomes 'Top Fuel' for next week. Just like Bull of the woods, there would be no entry fee for following weeks going forward and only a return fee if you want your cars shipped back.
Let me know if you would be interested in an ongoing drag event like that and also if you are okay with me keeping your car if it wins this event.
