NTK - No Time Kings (Summer 2025)

Heads Up/No Time - 5 Event Point Series

Outlaw Racing at its best. This is Heads Up, No Time racing. Timer is turned off. Lanes and opponents are determined by a chip draw at the start of each round.

Each round is one run and done. No 2nd run with a lane swap. The clock is off so no one will know how fast (or slow) you ran. Winners advance to the next round until 1 car is left.

All cars are re-entered at the start of each new event.

A total of 5 Events will take place over the course of the summer. Points accumulate over all 5 events to determines the series champion!

32 car field. Comment "IN" below to enter. First 32 only. If there are less than 32 I will add house cars to fill the field. House cars will race just like any other entry, but will not accumulate points.

Limit 1 entry per household.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified or stock Hot Wheels castings Only. No other brands
• Door Cars Only!  Production car or ProMod looking cars only. No funny cars, pickup trucks, buses, etc.
• Must keep original casting body lines. No fender hogging.
• Only hood scoops, wings or wheelie bars may be added to the outside of the body (strongly encouraged!)
We're aiming for the look of a Street Outlaws/No Prep Kings event. Factory steel roof and quarter panels with fiberglass front ends and doors. Stretched front end ProMods are OK! (and encouraged)
• No part of the car may protrude forward of the starting gate peg.
• If you're unsure, send me a picture for approval before you build.
• 70g maximum weight.
• Retail Wheels only. Tire must be black
• Wheel swaps, sanding, coning allowed.
• Rear Tire must be larger diameter than Front Tire.
• Any axles allowed. Tubes OK
• Track width - must fit on Dollar Tree sectional orange track.
• Dry or wet lube allowed, but any cars that drip will be disqualified

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host by Saturday, 3/29/2025.

 Late arriving cars will join the show at the start of the next event. Please be on time

 Racing and video production will begin Saturday, 4/5/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host pending no life events happen etc.

Race format and scoring

Each of the 5 events in the series will be run as follows:

• Single elimination ladder.
• Chip draw for lane and opponent
• One and done… no lane swap.
• ET Timer is turned off. Only W is displayed
• The fastest cars may not win every race due to slight variation in the lanes. This simulates real drag racing. You missed your tune, lost traction, tire shake, reaction time, bad lane etc. All the things that could cost you a race. By the end of the 5 events, the cream should rise to the top.

5 Points for every round you race in.
5 Bonus points for the event winner

Points will be accumulated over the 5 events and a series champion will be crowned.
Top five in points at the end of the series will be credited on their Redline Derby stats.

Race host has final decision in all races.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

Any car that fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above will get to race in round 1 of each event but cannot advance. I will work with you to try and resolve any issues we reasonable can to get you back in the competition.

Cars that drip lube on the track will not be allowed to run.
