With the success of the Decathlon event earlier this year, I have taken some time to organize and formulate how the 2nd Olympic event will work.
The top 10 in points from the previous Olympics have already qualified for the 2nd Olympics later this year in November:
1. Flip - Gold
2. RLO - Silver
3. Chase Family - Bronze
4. Dog Squab
5. Feral Mods
6. Mako Racing
7. Polk County - IceMan
8. Puff's Racing
9. Travelers Racing League
10. Abnormal Speed Racing.
IF you are NOT one of these 10 builders, This event is where you will enter for a chance to qualify for the next Olympics. This is The Olypmic Trials!
The Olympic Trials will consist of 4 events. You will compete in these 4 events for points. The top 10 in these Olympic Trials will be given the remaining 10 spots for the next Olympics in Nov or Dec. The next Olympics will have 20 spots in the roster. The previous Olympics top 10 and the top 10 from these trials.
I want to give the top 10 from The Trials some time to make adjustments to their cars after seeing how they perform in these 4 events. So, there will be about a month between the end of this event and the start of the next Olympics to get cars shipped back and forth so the builders can make any adjustments.

Speed events will have rounds where the field will be reduced each round until there is a single winner. 10 points for 1st down to 1 point for 10th. 11th and below receive zero points for the event.
Distance events will have rounds where the field will be reduced each round until there is a single winner. 10 points for 1st down to 1 point for 10th. 11th and below receive zero points for the event.
Accuracy events will have rounds where a car will score points for stopping in zones closest to the target. High scores move on to the next round until there is a single winner. 10 points for 1st down to 1 point for 10th. 11th and below receive zero points for the event.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
Prizes
