Sure! Remember, you can build it on a Hot Wheels gasser chassis if you would like, it just has to be a Matchbox body.

What is the time frame on when this series will start?  That would help me decide if I can host a weekend.

I am looking to start sometime in September, maybe on the 7th. I would like it to be a 5 race series, double headers are fine if they work better for the race hosts.

I am thinking points will be 1 point for each "regular" round win, 2 points for making it to the semi finals, 3 points for a runner-up, and 4 points for the final round win. If anyone still wants to do the donation part of sending an extra in the package car to be donated locally, we can still do that.

I would appreciate it if other racers could share their suggestions before the rules / details are set in stone. This is my first series that I am organizing, so I could use all the help I can get. Thanks!

My thinking is if you are going to have a Matchbox race then have a Matchbox race............All bodies, chassis and wheels must come from Matchbox.  Just my idea........Stroller

I understand, Ed. But I am allowing a Hot Wheels chassis and wheels to make modification a little easier. For example, if you were to enter a Matchbox casting that Hot Wheels also made, the Hot Wheels version might already have FTE's on it. That way racers can just do a quick chassis swap without having to take their FTE's off if they don't want to.
