NOW FULL!

Who doesn't love muscle cars from the 60's & 70's?

As a child growing up in Sydney, I was super fascinated by cars from the US, and even some of my mates had Falcon's, Mustang's and Camaro's... so I was seriously jealous!

That's why I'd love to make this event awesome to celebrate all-things Muscle Car. I've never owned one at 1:1, which is why at 1:64, this dream can finally become a reality!!!

16 Cars maximum for this event.

Rules & restrictions

  • Stock and modified entries allowed
  • 50g maximum weight
  • 2.9in. long x 1.5in. tall x 1.25in. wide
  • Limit 2 entries per household
  • Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
  • Dry lube only

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 7/5/2025. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 7/12/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $5.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be held at the track, in case you'd like to race again.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Timber Creek Speedway is a 2 laned Hotwheels orange track.
Lane 1 = 20ft 2in
Lane 2 = 19ft 6in
There are 3 inclined 90 degree turns.

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it has the fastest combined time (Lane 1 time + Lane 2 time) for the heat it is in.

Cars will alternate lanes during each heat.

The car that wins the final race with the fastest combined time will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

If there is a minimum of 4 entries for each class (stock and modified) then there will be seperate heats, resulting in 2 winner's.

Review the race format on my YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@TimberCreekSpeedway

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Both lanes are cleaned after each heat.

Prizes

THe event winner will receive a 'Winner's T-Shirt', so please write on your entry form, what size and color you want.

To view the shirt and colors available: visit my website: www.timbercreekspeedway.com/winners

Or, you can choose a coffee mug or a hat only. These can be viewed also on my website.

Hi. Does the car have to be a muscle car from the 60's and 70's, or just any muscle car? Thanks

  • Hi there! Any muscle car is fine, so long as it’s sooped up! — OzboyUSA
  • Sounds good. I'll give it a run. I just posted it on my Facebook racing page, so hopefully that will garner more interest. — RayRaySugar
  • Thank you! Appreciate your support. — OzboyUSA
  • The $10 entry fee might be part of the low response....? — Dutch_Clutch_Racing

Do you have pics or a link to what the track looks like? Will the event be posted on YouTube?

  • Look above in the "race format and scoring" and there's a YouTube link to watch — RayRaySugar
  • There’s a link to my YouTube channel where I’ll be adding the race after it’s run. The winner will be announced as well. — OzboyUSA

Stock and mod run together or separate?

  • Hey! If there's an equal entry of each, then the classes will compete separately, so 2 winner's at the end. Would be great to get at least a minimum of 4 for each class. — OzboyUSA
  • In for a mod and a stock. — Uncle_Elvis

Thank you!

Is your track in the USA or international?

The first bracket of 8 cars is almost full. A BIG thank you to those who have entered.

This has been a learning for me (newbie), and I'll surely next time provide a decent amount of time, so apologies to everyone for over-looking this factor, but I'm grateful to be able to run this event with you all.

I'll do 2 mods
