Stage 2 of the Red Ball Rally series is complete and the winner is...2Seven's Lamborghini!

This bracket was a tale of revenge. After getting knocked out in 3rd round by Traction Event's Ferrari, 2Seven's Lambo climbed out of the loser's bracket to face TE's Ferrari in the finals. Meanwhile, that Ferrari was burning up the track (beating even himself) to get to the last match. 

2Seven's Lambo narrowly edged out the Ferrari in the finals which then led to the ultimate final, where the Lamborghini once again took the win by a bumper.

Congrats to 2Seven on the win, and great showing by Traction Event, who captured 2nd and 3rd spots.

I'll let 2Seven figure up the points and final standings...but some quick math points to Traction Event taking home the series victory. Official results coming soon...

I shot video of the main bracket races so after I edit those together I'll post it. I'm trying a 2-camera setup so we'll see how it works.

Well fought victory....and tight racing to boot. Congrats to 2seven on showing the Ferrari who the real Italian super car King is...  Gotta watch these upstarts...

Man having little expectations only to find out you won is awesome! Congrats TE, on another great showing ( 3-4 wins this month and counting for you!! ). I dont think points need awarded since TE won the first event and placed 2nd and 3rd in last event. So you my friend are entitle to a $25 Toys R Us gift card, 2 additional prize cars dontated to the pot (Redline Derby would you give porps to the dontator of those cars please, I cant remember) and any cars not being shipped to their owners are all yours. Congrats!

Despite the outcome of the races, I would always push for the tourneys to be Double Elimination. A lot of build time goes into the cars to only see them run once. Its possible to have the 2nd fastest cars and draw the fastest car and lose in round one after two runs and never know you could have fought back through the losers bracket.

Thanks to all for the generous prize. I would like to donate the cars, and gift card to the die cast jam crew heading to LJLRC... Give this cool stuff out to a few well deserving kids! 

If that is ok? I do not want anyone to think I do not value, or want this prize... I worked hard on those cars and wanted to win. I just think it's good to give back.
