Redline Derby Showroom thread
Just off the bench - a 67 Chevy C10 that I purchased as a Hot Wheels Art car with pink/blue wheels and and various graphics. I've swapped the wheels and painted it to look like my 72 Chevy C10 which I purchased in 75. This is the first in a series of doing various Hot Wheels cars / trucks I've either owned or driven.
Then the Volvo gasser is coming together. I was inspired by G_force's use of 2mm masking tape so I picked some up - very easy to use.

so this is not a racer but, its the first one of these i did my process to,
took it apart, stripped it, polished to a mirror like finish, real rider swapped, tapped and screwed back together, and it still works, or i should say works again

todays project of 'reviving cars from my 80's toybox' another non-racer
this one was pain in the...so any way, fresh real riders, mirror polish, fixed the stance, not 100% satisfied with the results but its way better than what i started with, i should start taking before pics.
Half-time show / speed run @ Gravity Throttle Racing. Unobtainium is faster than I thought it would be and faster than it looks. I expect it to roll over like a turtle.

Finished, Save for hood ornament, license plate, and a better job with the cotton smoke! Even drilled holes in grille for the speakers!

My brother's Ferrari 348 headed to Custom Carnage 4. When we enter 2 cars in a tournament, we will often both build one.
Got my 911 painted up and the decals applied. Looks pretty good.

Public Safety Notice!!!
If during a race you should see one of the vehicles shown below coming up behind you, pull over and let them pass by. There is most likely something going on at the finish line and they need to get there stat. Thanks for your compliance and for getting the hell out of the way.
From Left to right: Fire Marahal Bill, Track Safety Officer Ima Passu, and the Fun police. Remember they are on official bizness so pull over. And that goes double for you Numbskull.
This is especially true for Fire Marshal Bill who is a mobile maniac of mayhem. Check out his recent visit to a school classroom. He'll be on a track near you soon. Watch out.
