My Jack Hammer entry, for this summers event at Knobby Ridge, was lost in the mail. Oh my. So I have recreated it. I also took my gasser van and gave it a makeover. And now these 3 are headed to the mid-west for a little drag racing.
These are the cars that I sent to Igloo Proving Grounds. They got caught up in UPS's apparently notorious Cusoms/broker scam and are supposedly on their way back to FL. I'm hoping that an alternate comes through for Beaverworx and that I eventually find another event that the cars are suited for.

something 'new' that i have been playing around with is doing my 'strip & shine' process, then wrapping a 50 cent machine dragon temporary tattoo around them
thanks, i didn't invent the idea but it seems to come out pretty cool, the tattoos hold up pretty good without a clear coat too, and if i change my mind alcohol 'cleans the slate' to start over

Lotus and AMC were both quick builds. Polish the axles and add a little weight. Land Rover is a natural out of the package, just dusted the wheels. Cruiser Bruiser is an animal. My brother asked me to build him a Matchbox. These are heading for a toy box in Tampa.
My first attempt at a couple of classic JDM tuners - a Datsun 510 wagon, and a Toyota AE86. Looks like they are trying to box in a Corvette. I'll talk to these young men next time I see them.
I forgot to mention that the Kanji symbol on the rear of the Toyota is the character for - luck. And in classic yin-yang balance its just luck - could be good or bad.
Thanks for the comments - these were a lot of fun to make and I plan a couple more. I got all the classic Japanese art images from Pixabay (high res and vector) with open use licenses. I also really like the Datsun 510 with the Great Wave on the hood. Also after a botched first paint job on the 510 I stripped it and went and popped $35 on 5 cans of Tamiya paint. It is fantastic paint goes on in thin layers with great coverage dries quickly. But most importantly it looks great.

I picked up these two trucks from Aliexpress... Hopefully they look as good in person as they do online... less than $8 each and free shipping.
