ROADRAGE RACING INAUGURAL RACE

Hello DIECAST RACERS of all makes and models. I am starting out a  NEW DRAG TRACK and I am looking for 32 drivers for this first of many events.  The track that this event will be on is MY 28 ft Extreme Racers track, two lanes with and elecrtonic start gate. 

This will be a race of NORMAL cars, Cars and pick up trucks YES! Baja trucks NO!. Buses NO! garbage trucks NO! .. Anything "realistically" able to be purchased and driven on a normal street, NO FANTASY CARS or color wheels.

I am no 3dbotmaker, but I will do my best to make it a good race event and give you the best video that I am capable to give with what I have ..  I  AM VERY NEW TO THIS!

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 57g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household / Team 
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• NO COLORED WHEELS (Must be black or grey)
• Car must remain in its original silhouette. Meaning the body lines can't be changed
• Car must have original chassis
• Must have original windows
• No bearing wheels, or tubes/tubed axels 
• All weight must remain inside the cars and not be visiable. 

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 8/27/2021. Racing is scheduled for Tuesday, 8/31/2021. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $8.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.  Cars shipped from out of the USA may be a bit more.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Racing will be on the ROADRAGE DIECAST RACING. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two races. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

NO GRACE ON WEIGHT OF CAR.. SO you build for what the rules stipulate.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

$10 gift card to target or walmart. Winners choice!   (Track Owner Not eligable for prize. lol)
