Scale MileHigh Valley Tournament**NOW FULL**

This will be a stock and open mod event [Excludes the Cadillac V-16 and Zoom-In castings] Racing on 3 tracks. The stock (70g limit) portion of the race will pit Hotwheels F/Cs vs Johnny Lightning F/Cs in a 32 car bracket. So send your fastest one of each. Mod can be a casting of your choosing with a 70g weight limit. Keep in mind that 1:55 th scale cars don't do well at Haywood Valley so it has to be able to run a circuit track too. Please send one of each Funny Car. Hot wheels  and Johnny Lightning for the stock races 

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 70g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 2 of each entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube preferred
• If you use wet lube make sure it's cured before you send it

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 12/22/2023. Racing is scheduled for Friday, 12/29/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host. First 16 entries signed up will race and 17 and 18 can serve as reserves.

Track

The 3 Leg race will begin at MileHighRaceway, then travel to The Chase Family Racing for the Circuit at Haywood Valley, then will finish at Scale Racing Channel.

Race format and scoring

32 car Bracket Race single elimination. Fastest time after lane swap moves on. Points system :
Round 1= 1 point
Round 2= 2 pts
Round 3= 3 pts
Round 4= 4 pts
Round 5= 5pts @ each track. There will be a trophy and prize pace for the overall winner. The modified winner will have a trophy as well.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Trophy for 1st place overall winner in stock
Trophy for overall modified winner. Plus prize pack for both.
