Season 7 dates, details

Assuming everything else goes as expected, here's the planned schedule for the last season of the year. It will be a quick season with several weekends with 3 tournaments. There will also be no circuit tracks so all races will be on the official Redline Derby track. The only holiday we'll be going through is Thanksgiving and otherwise done before Christmas.

Fantasy League Season 7
Opens 10/29, Championship on 12/17

There will be 3 tournaments for the opening week on 10/29 and then again the weekend of 11/19. All other weekends between will have the normal 2 tournaments.

This last season will also see the first "official" sponsor for the fantasy league, Tom's Diecast Cars online store. They are providing the season prize, more details on that real soon.

The fantasy league teams will also continue in Season 7. Teams Commissioner Peter (seattlegreyy) has done an outstanding job maintaining the first trial run for teams and the feedback was positive, so we'll keep it going as forum-only activity through the last season. Please check out the Teams sub-forum and threads for details on teams.

Season 7 will mark the end of the racing year for the Fantasy League and will also be the last season run on the current game engine. When racing resumes in Spring 2012, the Fantasy League will be all new with new features, improved features and a lot more cars. The new version is currently in-progress and more details will be shared soon.
