Sub-Ultimate EVO Championship

The ULTIMATE EVO TOURNAMENT was envisioned by Marcos at Polo Racing. Stage 1 was head-to-head drag racing that saw 14 competitors eliminated. Because stage 2 was held here at Shavano Mountain Raceway, it's only fitting that these 14 get a shot at victory. Anyone who modifies diecast cars knows about the time, effort, and money (+shipping) to compete in these mail-in tournaments.

Race format and scoring
Last week, the bottom 3 in the drag race competed to fill one final spot for this 12-car championship.
This tournament began with 3 groups of 4 cars each. They competed in a 4-round race with 5-3-2-1 scoring (no train bonus) to collect as many points as possible.
The racers with the top 4 point totals advanced to the final 4-round race to determine the overall winner.

Great job on this mate! Getting a chance to run that car on your track really helps me. I (supposedly) built it to do well in a drag race... not so much... and hoped it would be ok in the road race... nope. Oh well... I will learn from this one for sure!
