What a shit show, lol

  • If it fails, then it fails. Just trying out the rules the use in Asia. Have a great day. — VoxxerRacing
  • I’d like to join but too many gray areas for my liking. Evidence by all the questioning of the rules. Good luck but to me simpler is better. After hosting my share of races I know by experience just getting the simplest rules followed can be a chore — BlueLineRacing
  • I can understand both sides of this one. — ElevationDiecastRac1ng

To make things clear ....

If you do not like the race or rules ... do not race.  Simple

Rules for 2/7/2026 race.

A race car is only allowed to race in one class ... example a 30g cannot race in 40g class.

Allowance/grace for weight ( for this race ) is .9g. This will be reduced in future races .7, .5, .3, to eventually be zero.

No Stock cars ( not altered ) allowed. This is not a stock class race. Rivets must be removed ... but remember that car is no longer stock.

All wheels MUST BE original Diameter as the original car. You cannot alter the height of the original wheels = make a Medium wheel an X-large

All Hot Wheels cars can be verified on Hot Wheels Wiki - Google

Example - If a Nerve Hammer is a X-racer with a purple body, clear glass, chrome interior with a flat black metal base, YOU CANNOT INTERCHANGE PARTS.

You CANNOT SWITCH PARTS to alter the weight ie plastic for metal or vise versa.

Hot Wheels cars and wheels only

Weight classes. 30g 35g 40g 45g 50g etc

Cars MUST be within 3g +/- of race car weight when stock.

Car styles and types CAN AND WILL BE BANNED. Example .... If a Nerve Hammer consistently wins or is 90% of the entrants, expect it to be banned ( placed in Hall of Fame ). Always have a different back up car per weight class.

Wheel Types CAN be banned or restricted.
Example ... disc wheels could be not allowed in a special race. Have a back up car with Original HEIGHT AND WIDTH wheel sets. Special races can happen. Example = 35g all wheels must be 5 spoke and plastic body and metal base.

Wheels MUST have been issued on a stock ( standard $1ish car when issued ) carded Hot Wheels, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 20 pack cars, Color Shifter or Color Reveal ( Nickel Plated Axles same as FTE and Gold Medal Speed ). Example not allowed = Wagon wheels from Premium Line - Delorean. Super Man = XL ( back ) not allowed but L ( front ) is allowed since L was issued on FE Formula Solar. Hot Wheels ID wheels ( not the cars ) are legal since being introduced to the mainline. If racer can provide picture of car, with wheel and can be verified, then track judge will make the call. Results of the ruling WILL BE MADE PUBLIC by the track owner/ judge.

NO Premium cars allowed.

Cars MUST BE with in 3g ( can not go above race class weight ) of Racing original weight to be legal.

You cannot take a stock 20g car and make it a 30g racer. A stock 27g car can be a 30g racer.
You cannot take a stock 40g car and make it a 30g racer. A 38g car can be a 35g racer.
General rule - car MUST look EXACTLY like in the bubble on the cardboard. If you can see it on the car, must be in the racer and visible as stock.

Wheels MUST be wheel sets ( two stock wheels on uncut axle and uncut original axle heads).  Definition  -  cutting axle or head off to replace with different wheels other the stock that came on that wheel set, even if you replace with same wheels, not legal.    MUST be same height as original. Rules for wheels modifications listed below.

ANY modifications and styles of lubricant can be used ( with in track/judge rules. ) to the WHEEL SETS.

Wheels sets must be mounted in original location. No tubes or any future developments of wheels designs. Stock wheel sets ONLY.

ZERO ZIP NADA MODIFICATIONS are allowed, no matter how it is written or interpreted or spirt of rules to the body or base or any visible part of the car - EXCEPT #1 where wheels contact base maybe be sanded and polished. #2 weight can be removed ( metal or plastic ) and replacement amout can be added ( up to 3g ) INSIDE AND MUST BE UNSEEN FROM OUTSIDE ( clear bodies or X racers allowed) If you can see it from the original STOCK car ( from any angle ) it MUST STAY. #3 Stock rivets can be removed. #4 A 1/4" dot ( paint/ nail ploish/ colored marker ) may be added to center outside base to mark your racer. Water slide decals are legal as long as under 3/4 " X 3/4" and can be place on hood or roof.

Count me in! I've been looking for a race to send my Moon Eye funny car from the drag 5 pack too. It's 37.5 g so I'll add 2.5 and keep it looking stock. Might try to shave the Hotwheel one down to 35....
