The War 2 Settle The "GTO" Score!

So this is going to be a modified only event to settle the score once and for all who has the superior GTO. Enter as many as you wish at $5 per entry. Anything with the GTO badge, maybe entered ...Ferrari...Mitsubishi... And if you must the 2006 Holden Monaro version which is really a Pontiac Grand Prix. No bearings, no stretching. No cutting the body... make it look as the car appears originally. You can take out the interior if you wish. Make sure you reinstall the windshield and back window etc.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 70g maximum weight
• Must fit Orange Seamless 
• Limit No Limit entries per household
• Use whatever you want, no bearings
• You know the deal, don't be Soul Glowing At MileHigh.
• $5.00 per car NoLimit

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 5/1/2026. Qualifying will be Saturday night. If you do not make it on time. You will not race.  Racing is scheduled for Tuesday, 5/5/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be donated to the mile high shelf at elevation.

Racing will be on the MileHighRaceway. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

This will be a bracket race event with a qualifying round before the race. Cars will alternate lanes between each race. Fastest lap after lane swap will move on to the next round.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be by way of Qualifying

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race but will not advance past the first round

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Prizes

First place will receive a nice trophy and prize pack.

Second, and third place will receive a medal. And prize packs, of course.
