About

Its bumpy and unpopular with the drivers, but Kelson Hill is where the top drivers come to really test their skill. The wrong speed, the wrong line, any wrong move gets you punished and often ends up with you on your roof.

Kelson Hill is home to the World Cup of Diecast Cars, or the WCDC. This is a 2 division series with promotion and relegation from both. Drivers represent international teams, and battle for the title of world champion.

There are also other tournaments - The Duct Cup is a winner-stays-on compeition fought for by teams from every country in the world. Then there are 6 support tournaments during the year. In total, there are 8 different series and tournaments, with the top teams from all, being selected to compete in the end of year Champions League. This final tournament follows the same set up as the football Champions League, with a group and knockout stage.

The track is due to be extended by 1-2m soon, with the start gate moving around the corner. The materials used are Palight, Augmoto for the 180 turns, paper mache and cardboard for the 60 turns, and way too much Duct Tape. Slowly the track is being adjusted to allow for smoother racing, but in its current configeration, its certainly a challenge for the drivers!
