164DragRacing YouTube Channel and Insta

Hello All,

I am new to Redline Derby, but decided I would like to share my new Youtube channel and Instagram, 164DragRacing with you all. I recently purchased a Play Robotics timing system and it has changed the hobby for me! I was using a mechanical finish line with my phone's timer prior. It's great to have a consistent system. 

After receiving my track, a new diecast hobby store opened up, My Guy Collectables. Side Note: if you're in the SoCal area, it's worth a visit! I went to see what was available, hoping to find cars for my next race, and I found so much more. 

There were brands I never heard of like Pop Race, Keido House, Mini GT... This got me thinking what it would be like to drag race these highly detailed model cars? So I picked up a few and sent them down the track. 

The speed of these cars felt really scale to watching old tapes of drag racing in Japan. I was hooked and wanted to share my journey in experimenting with these cars. My first series will be focused on how fast each brand is compared to a stock Hotwheel car. There will also be head-to-head drag races for each brand mixed in. At the moment, I have a Kaido House and a Pop Race test shared. 

I also have a preview for my upcoming race between a Pop Race R32 and a Pop Race GTI that you can try to guess the winner. If you're interested, I would love to hear your thoughts on this idea and/or my videos. I am always open to suggestions. After the race, I will be tuning my Mini GT R34 to try and beat a box stock Hotwheel.
