This will be a drag race at Flips Strip. A scale 1/8 mile drag track made with Hot Wheels continuous track, a KaBoom start gate and finish timer. This race is to see who has the fastest 35g stock car. We seen what cars are fast on 1/4 mile tracks. Will that translate to the 1/8 mile??
Rules & restrictions
- Stock entries only
- 35g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Open entries per household
- Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
- Any lube
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 4/29/2023. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 4/29/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Race format and scoring
Any stock casting
•Any brand
•Must be No more than 35g.(anything over 35g on my scale is ILLEGAL) so don't cut it too close.
•Any Lube
•No sanding wheels ( if I determine you have it will not be allowed to race) so DONT DO IT!!
•You can add decals or color with paint markers to make it your own.
•No glueing any pieces on cars. If something detaches on your car it must stay that way. If something opens it must stay that way. No add ons to cars. If it didn't come on it then it can't be on it.
•$5 a car. You can send as many as you want.
$10 for shipping inside the US.
$20 shipping for outside the US.
•Race will be a timed event
•All cars will get one run down each lane
•Going off times the field will be cut in half after each round.
•The second lap will be used in case of a tie
•The final 2 rounds the cars will get 2 runs down each lane.
•Last one standing will be the Champ!
Cars will be racing on the 1/8 mile Flips Strip track. Cars must be at the track by April 29th. Racing will be recorded and posted on the LCDRL YouTube channel at the hosts convenience.
Penalties/DNF
Any car that is over 35g will be disqualified and the time will be disallowed. Also if it looks like the wheels have been sanded the car will be disqualified and the time will be disallowed. If the car has been opened up it will be disqualified.

35g limit....that cancels out this sh*tty Evo I can't seem to get rid of :)

If I can find a decently quick under 35 I'll send it.
Got a stock '69 Chevrolet Camaro from the Fast & Furious 5-pack I can send in. I have three, but two are 35.3g. One is 34.4g so that one will be graphited and well run in and sent out shortly. It's the fastest stock I have, although I suspect it will be slow in comparison at the track!
