I got into this hobby last March, and wanted a track to test/race cars that I've modified. I started watching all the different videos and tracks that other builders were coming up with and it inspired me to take my 2 lane test track to the next level. So I did just that. I got myself a KaBoom timing system with a custom click down start gate. I also got myself the Hotwheels continuous track instead of the sections of track. Last, but not least I bout a bunch of diaroma stuff and went to town coming up with my own theme. The theme of my track is a small town country drag strip. Where people hangout and enjoy the races.
