70 Years of the Corvette (Full Roster)

This tournament will celebrate the Chevrolet Corvette's 70th Anniversary.

Rules & restrictions

• Any Corvette 1:64 casting.
• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entrie per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Windshields can be blacked out, but can not be painted colors.
• No fantasy wheels allowed. Wheels must be black.
• No hogging/grinding of wheel wells.
• Custom paint is required.
• Maximum of 32 car field.
• Convertibles should have a scale driver in the drivers seat. I can provide this if needed for shipping.
• All weight should not be visible and inside the car body.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 5/20/2023. Racing is scheduled for every Saturday morning at 8:00 am ET starting, 6/3/2023. Results will be posted on at the conclusion of the event as is convenient for the host.

There is a $3.00 entry fee for all cars. This will cover the trophy and other awards.

Include at least $7.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be kept by the track for a future event.

NO CHECKS or PAYPAL will be accepted with the exception of foreign entries and they will require PAYPAL ONLY.

A race ID is required completely fill out. This includes an active email address.

Track

This event will be held on the Treetops Raceway Park's road course.

Race format and scoring

This will be a four car four lap heat race set up with the standards scoring of 5-3-2-1-0. The two highest point totals will move on tot the next round.

In the event of a tie the race will be a best of three with the car with the most wins or fastest lap time getting the outside lane advantage for the first race. The third race if required will be decided by the fastest lap in the tiebreaker race. 

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

All groups will be randomly selected using a randomizer.

Penalties/DNF

There is no grace allowed. Please weigh your vehicle and make sure it is below the 60 gram maximum.

Each car will be given a maximum of two laps down the course. If your car can not complete the lap it will be disqualified and not race.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
