A Tale of Two Escalades

EconoCarl Monday, 12/12/2011

Two Escalades pulled into the HalfFast Shop yesterday:
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
The maroon one has a plastic body/metal chassis The yellow one is just the opposite.

Although they look nearly the same, these are two completely different vehicles now:
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
The yellow one is now metal chassis and body and the maroon one is all plastic. The yellow Escalade weighed 47.3g and is now 66.5g. The maroon Escalade weighed 37.8g and is now 19.1g. Both cars are completely stock with the exception of the body change.

Now got to get two work on the two Rescue Rangers that are built the same way!

Do you use epoxy, rivets or screws to hold them together now?

The first few cars I build I used JB Weld, but once a car was put together that was pretty much it! Now I'm using screws (3-48x3/16 phillips head). More info on the screws is here:
