***Single Elimination*** (see notes below)

Bellingham Race Format: In order to more accurately rank the cars for a seeded single-elimination race "FINALE" in Michigan, I'll be running a total of eight single elimination races in Bellingham. Each car entered will compete in four single elimination races.

***Example: Traction Event's Nova will race in four single elimination races and his El Camino will race in the other four single elimination races for a total of 8 races/brackets. *Teams will not race against themselves in Bellingham except in the event of a points tie -raceoffs will be held for tie breakers.

I will be posting the 8 brackets as soon as I receive all of the entries.

**Team DaniCal: in the event we end up with an odd number of cars entered, my wife and son will enter a car to make the total number of cars entered an even number.

Cars will earn 1 point per win in these single elimination battles.  The car with the most points at the end of the eight races will receive 14 points / 2nd: 12 points / 3rd: 10 points / 4th: 9 points / 5th: 8 points / 6th: 7 points / 7th: 6 points / 8th: 5 points / 9th: 4 points / 10th: 3 points / 11th: 2 points / 12th: 1 point

Michigan Race Format: One 26 car single elimination seeded bracket (one point per win) These points will be added to the points earned in Bellingham to determine the 9 podium places and the overall winner and owner of the JDC custom made trophy.

YUP...
for those who seldom strip paint, most "hot wheels classics" series cars are chromed under the paint... hhmmmmm

Two questions:

1) on the bare metal - can it be polished?

2) as to the tires are you intending it to be only black tread/side wall color - still allowing for different rim finishes? (I think this wording would still eliminate all non-black colored "wheels"?

Winner take all? I'm listening and nodding my head.... Yup I'm in....I'd take yellow but I'll assume Carl might need it. Red for me please

Yes, polish away if you want.

Rims can be silver, gold, or even black.
Black tires only - I'm just trying to avoid colored wheels like the High Speed Wheels. I want the cars to look somewhat authentic.
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
NO HIGH SPEED WHEELS PLEASE

I will sign up for "red". If you run out of colors - I am willing to change to a dark red/maroon/oxblood if needed or available.

[columbo]Just one more question... Can we add stipes/stickers/decals to the bare metal finish or should they be street racers for the overall authenticity?

Traction has red, so I'll give you dark red.

No stickers or stripes -Please keep the metal bare.
