Finding cars maybe a little difficult if you are like me and don't have a large collection but there are so many options it should be fun.

. For Me Its Hard Finding A Pre 72 Diecast Thats Reasonable Priced.

Just to be clear the car itself does not need to have been made before 1972. But it needs to be a pre 1972 model. For example a '72 Gran Sport Torino shpo;d not be hard to find.

or a 70 Roadrunner.

This is a cool idea. I also thought the cars had to be NASCAR replicas.
If not, then all we have to do is put a number on a car model that once raced in NASCAR?

Exactly! Simple as that.

For example: you like the Hudson Hornet. It was raced in NASCAR in 1952 so it is a legal classic entry. Do you racing mods to a Hot Wheels Hudson and paint your numbers on and it's ready to race.

BTW, the 70's cars where some of the best looking.

Numbers already on the car are fine as long as they aren't already spoken for. The Huffman Stocker looks to be based off a early 90's Thunderbird to me soot would count for the modern era.
