Battle Of The NASCAR Stars (Series Start May 26)
. For Me Its Hard Finding A Pre 72 Diecast Thats Reasonable Priced.
Just to be clear the car itself does not need to have been made before 1972. But it needs to be a pre 1972 model. For example a '72 Gran Sport Torino shpo;d not be hard to find.
or a 70 Roadrunner.
62 Chevy
Those are just examples.
Oh Wow I Thought It Had To Be A Replica. Sorry I Misunderstood. So I Will Request #59 For My Second Number.
I'm in with the numbers 19 & 26!
Good deal.
davball wants to be Jeff Gordon with the 24 and 25.
My favorite NASCAR cars are those of the 70s
This is a cool idea. I also thought the cars had to be NASCAR replicas.
If not, then all we have to do is put a number on a car model that once raced in NASCAR?
I want numbers 42 and 67 if they're still available.

You got it!

Exactly! Simple as that.
For example: you like the Hudson Hornet. It was raced in NASCAR in 1952 so it is a legal classic entry. Do you racing mods to a Hot Wheels Hudson and paint your numbers on and it's ready to race.
BTW, the 70's cars where some of the best looking.
I've been wondering about a NASCAR series...it sounds cool. However, I may or may not be able to enter--merely because I already have so many cars going in so many directions--and if I do, it might not be my very fastest qualifiers. But don't get me wrong, this is a great series.
I have two questions: One, what if you enter actual NASCARs with numbers already on them? Two, do the Huffman Stockers count as Classic NASCARs?
Team Fishtail wants in.. car numbers 68,69 please
Team Fishtail will be running 1970 Plymouth Superbird, and 2010 Chevy Impala
Team Traction Event will be running 1971 Plymouth GTX,and a 1973 Ford Grand Torino

Numbers already on the car are fine as long as they aren't already spoken for. The Huffman Stocker looks to be based off a early 90's Thunderbird to me soot would count for the modern era.
#94 and #32.
My cars are already numbered so hope they aren't taken!
Ok
Traction event 23 and 33
Kharvest 9
Finding cars maybe a little difficult if you are like me and don't have a large collection but there are so many options it should be fun.
