I will be racing, filming, and posting a couple races a night, all week. So, this will be a week-long event to wrap-up this, first ever, Beetle Bash!
The rules for the Open track race are pretty straight-forward. A car has to cross the finish line before it's opponent...if neither car makes it to the finish line, they will be raced again. A car may get a "push" from it's opponent to cross the finish line. A car must win from both the inner and outer starting lanes to win the race. The finish line extends beyond the track (if a car comes off the track, heading to the finish, and crosses the line before the other car, that car will get the win).
Good luck to everyone! This promises to be an exciting heat of a very fun series!
