Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination 32 rig tournament. A rig will move on in the bracket only when it wins its group. Rigs will alternate lanes between each race.

The rig that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be timed qualifying run.

Penalties/DNF

Rigs are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a rig fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the rig will not qualify for victory. Offending rigs will not race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty rig winning.

Rigs that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Rigs that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Rigs that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

  • The post had a typo in entries. It is only one per house hold this time. So many guys have been trying to get on this track I couldn’t let everyone double up. But you’ll have a rally car to build soon so don’t worry — DiecastDudeRacing
  • 10 4 — Numbskull
