BlueLine Racing 60g Modified Championship Series

This will be a 60 gram modified 2021 Championship Series. The tournament will be capped at 32 cars, 1 car per race team and they will start at BlueLine Racing in CT April 29th, then travel to Scale Racing Channel in TN in June, then off to Red Pill Hill in GA to race in August, The Low Country Diecast Racing League in SC and then the tournament will finish back at BlueLine Racing for the Championship finale will the cars will take on the Northeast Beast once again along with a new 16' track that I am currently building.

You ship your car to one location and they race at 6 different tracks.

Rules & restrictions

This Event will be capped at 36 Cars

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.33in. wide
• Limit 1 entry per race team
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed. Axel Tubes allowed
• Dry lube only
• This race will be limited to Production Cars/SUVs , Pickup Trucks and Vans. Concept cars will also be allowed as long as they resemble an actual car. If you're considering something borderline please ask first if it qualifies. Car body must remain in its original silhouette but you can enlarge the wheel wells. All weight must be hidden. No Zoom Ins

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Thursday, 4/22/2021. Racing is scheduled for Thursday, 4/29/2021 in Connecticut, June in TN, August in GA, Sept in SC, Oct in MI and back to CT in December for the finals. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

April 29th 2021 - The Northeast Beast at BlueLine Racing in CT

May 2021 - Scale Racing Channel's Hot Wheels 1/4 mile in TN

June 2021 - Red Pill Hill in GA

Aug/Sept 2021 - "The Drop" at MAC Mountain, Flips Strip, Boomtown USA in SC

November  2021- The Finale back at BlueLine Racing

Race format and scoring

This will be a cumulative points series. 1 point for a first round win, 2 points for a second round win and so on. Team with the most points at the end of the series will be the Champion. Some of the tracks will be timed events where the top half of times move on and at others it will be H2H racing where the winner has to win two races in a row to move on.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
