Bubble gunner, underrated ?
I'd never seen anyone here or any other boards mentioned about Bubble gunner. It's not even in the top list. Until, I saw it swept all the trophies from my local competition early this year ( 25' orange track Down hill)
That made me wonder if 'Bubble gunner' is a real deal
I bought a couple of white bubble gunners (Hot ones, 1 black wall, 1 chase) and tried it on my home track
Here is a list of what bubble gunner can beat
- F40 ( red, black, yellow, white, blue .... UH, gold lace, 3-spoke ...all )
- Testarossa ( black ...UH and gold lace)
- V16 ( black, silver, white ...bling, FTE)
- Teegray HSRW
- King kenny funny car
- Castrol GTX funny car
- Vintage noodle head + Noodlist (both in red)
- Re-tool S Cool bus (yellow and white)
- JL 69 Camaro BWF !!!
- JL 69 Camaro patrol
- JL 70 Challenger
- JL Coke van (white)
- JL Gold van
- JL Silverado monopoly
It becomes the fastest Diecast I owed !! .... very surprise with the result. All I can say is 'Bubble gunner ' is very underrated and it's a real speeder !
Discussion
That's an older one; maybe it'll be faster.
Traction Event--I think he's referring to the one from the Hot Ones series (I think South Texas Diecast said it was the "retooled" version of the one like what JDC posted).
Something's wrong with the other cars if that Hot Ones Bubble Gunner is beating them...
Yes it's a re-tool version (2012 Hot ones)
weight around 57g.
My home track is 15' orange track , 3' height downhill
I dont know why Bubble could beat these famous racers. It's neither the heaviest nor lowest-friction like FTE. may be my home track is too short.
I have this one from my childhood. I'll have to dig it out and test its speed.
