Yes back in the 80s (as I was electrical) I used cable troughing covers back then. Hot wheels track then was expensive and  scarce.

It's taking me years! If I get my hands on you......This is actually a great Idea the kids can do while I get my track up and running. Terrific! You made gramps a superhero to the kids again! and bought me some time. The track is very smart. Thank God I got all mine at $Tree but yours probably by foot was cheaper. I saw a guy do a plastic rain gutter. Any other tips? I am trying to keep it light weight for mobility.
