Cadillac Hypercar
How raceable is the Cadillac GTP car, both stock and modified? I have a feeling that it would be an absolute rocket if wisely modified, but would only do well on very smooth tracks.

A track with gentle grades is a must with a car this long and low. I feel Bathurst Diecast Racing is the place where the Caddy GTP would have its best outing, and a couple of this casting have arrived for the next mega event there fingers crossed
Tracks built with AFCR sets, nah. The angle of banked curves prohibit wheel contact with the track surface so there's the loss of momentum and control
I've seen stock versions find the finish line on courses designed by Spool Heads but by no means in a competitive way
To borrow from David @ Elevation Diecast, if your car isn't fast, at least it'll look gooood on the shelf, and that's where this casting firmly finds itself

I picked this one up a couple days ago at Walmart. It's one of the new mystery cars. Reminds me of the Cadillac when I first opened it. Ugly color but it rolls nice.

I made these two for a race at bathurst.
you can see that you can modifie them. Look at the front. One is modified, one not. Also under it and the wheelhouses are modifyed.

I've seen the stock versions run smoothly at Tiny Track Cars and places like that, but I have no personal experience with them. They are a great-looking casting, but something tells me not to bother opening any of mine because they're too low.
