I'm looking at extending my track and would like some fixed cameras.i have seen some n Ebay for around £15 ($18) do you think this is going to be a piece of garbage or cheap enough to take the gamble. Brand not supplied

sounds pretty cheap for a camera

I have wondered about CCTV setups for low res covering of the whole track

tried a web cam and so much lag

seems many people are using old phones, from a previous thread

Most security systems aren't going to have the frames/sec or focusing capabilities to record racing footage. Some might exist that can, but they would be on the pricier side of the security systems. — Tortoiseking

I've looked at lots of cheap cameras and the biggest issue is most don't do over 60fps and you can't control the shutter either so footage won't look great. However, if that's your only option, you can make it work
