I don't know that anyone particularly hates this casting, but my favorite fantasy style care is the Retro Active. I have 5 different color combinations now and two extra green ones still.

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

I also like (and have) the Arachnorod on the right - you do know it glows in the dark as well? I have about a half a dozen glow in the dark cars as well.

Yeah, I do now...lol! I guess the colour of the plastic should have been a dead giveaway, but I didn't discover this until I had turned the lights out for the night and saw it glowing green on my shelf. Same thing with the wheels on the Covelight, which I also bought the same day.

Hmmm...I dunno if others think it's weird or not but the one Fantasy class car that I've always loved is the Tooligan

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Probably just because it tries to be an actual tool, I think is pretty neat. Makes me think of a Tom & Jerry cartoon or something. Like Jerry needed a car to getaway from Tom so he made one out of a wrench and ruler.

Interesting, I wonder I the props spin when it goes down the track....

Here you go the Twang Thang (guitar car) alway seem fast as well...much like way 2 fast

And I like cars that "do" something like Cloak and Dagger

In the past, I've been rather vocal about my personal favorite...

CUL8R - 2004 First Editions
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
(Borrowed Image)

This car was designed by Mark Jones and its styling is certainly an acquired taste. But I've slowly gained much respect for this casting because of its 'on-track' performance. The smooth consistency. Early versions(2004-2007) were metal-on-metal, weighing in @ a respectable 42 grams. In 2008, the metal base was lightened by 4 grams...bringing the weight down to the sub-40 gram level. The base was changed to plastic in 2013 which completely changed the cars performance...obviously, not for the better.

I finally picked up a Cul8r FTE on eBay. This version is fairly rare -I believe it was a mail-in only. Sweet car!

Are you going to rip and race it?

Are you going to rip and race it?

Maybe I will, maybe I won't.

Not sure if it's a fantasy car, but if I could I would build a Mid-Mill to drive. http://i489.photobucket.com/albums/rr253/danielcollick/IMAG0820_zpsc7bb6c13.jpg
