Choosing your signature paintjob

Normally I just keep the car as is when I'm finished with building. I do always paint the interiors of the windows metallic gold, so I guess that's something.

I’ve always wanted one of these. A 2x4, a wire hanger and 2 alligator clips. Just built it last week. This should keep my fingerprints away from fresh paint.

You don’t even have to build them, hobby lobby (a craft store chain) sells both the stand and alligator clips to make one of these. That’s how I got mine. — Kingjester

Orange and white with a dash of silver or purple. Just depends as some cars have really nice stock colors etc. and I just roll with those. I look at every car as a potential art project or as a way to look at or celebrate a different time and place. I'm a sucker for big fat hugger stripes.

it's not the paint, it's the build

all cars are unique, and the build "determines the paint"

let the car talk to you, and it'll tell ya how to paint it
