Color shifting paint

Hey Abby, normal here just wanted to post that. I remain very happy to have begun to move to airbrushing. I don't even know how much I have yet to learn because there is really quite a bit to learn, but don't let that stop you from jumping in because the amount of control that you will have is really pretty huge.
i'll have to say upfront that I've had a little success using Vallejo's various paint products not sure if it's them or me. Primarily I have found good luck with createx paints. So I was a little hesitant to pick up this color shifting kit, which runs about 20 bucks. But I'm very happy to say that they are very easy to apply and the effect is very stunning. I guess I could do a photograph, but it would not show the amount of color shift that you get.
so you might look into it there's a lot of of entry-level kits available out there and that will least get you started in the air, brushing and mixing paint and understanding additives and all that stuff. Plus, I will add that while the paints are expensive you were using very little for one of our hot wheels cars. so as I said earlier, I can give these color shifters a big thumbs up as being pretty awesome and really pretty easy to apply. I plan to use them on the drag bus. I'm gonna send in for the drag bus bout.
here is a generic van that I used as my test subject for doing a multicolor paint job with the color shifter on the roof. Came out surprisingly well.
Hello Abby,
Looks like you'e off to a good start with your test subject. What is the name of the color?
I have had some success with Green Stuff World colorshift paints. You can buy them in sets of 8 for $40 or individually on ebay. I don't have an airbrush but they work really well with just a regular paint brush.
Can't wait to see your Drag Bus.
