Cool Classics & Auto World
Anyone run any of the Cool Classics cars yet? How quick are they compared to their regular mainline counterparts? What about the Auto World deluxe line (plastic wheels), how do they compare to the Playing Mantis Johnny Lightnings?

Why not! I have always been more of a road racing fan anyway. When the Sizzlers came out in the '70s I was ecstatic! Moved on to slot cars after that and then real cars. There is an AMX track in storage that needs a new lease on fun!
Here is a link to some discussions on the Auto World cars. Seems like I am the only one here to give them a try on the track and that was just one car.
THese cars are gorgeous! All metal and really cool paint. I bought the 67 Pontiac Firebird in purple. Haven't taken it out of the package yet. I think I will buy a few more and test them together.
