The Bragging Rights race will be tomorrow

- A tie in the first cops race! With optical finish line. Wow. Anyone else get such a result with that finish line before? — MoHasAFastCar
- I thought I caught that. I wasn't sure what happened. Good Racing!! — CrzyTrkrDude
- Yeah, the dead heats will happen every now and then...good, close racing! — 72_Chevy_C10

- Great job on the videos. Had a crazy day, didn't get to watch until tonight. Worth the wait! — Diecast64
- I can't remember when I actually won a heat let alone a race....Great racing by all... Well done C10 felt like I was visiting a friends home — Stroller
Ok, I can't hold back any longer... It was great to see new and veteran racers fighting for the top spots! Not the same old same old... Congrats to the top 4 in each class, tough and tight field...those spots were earned!!! CCRider had both cars in the top 4 each class...6 other racers making up the other spots... no one racers domination. This will make for a great series fight!
Congrats to Smitty and CCRider for their class wins! Aircooled, DVB, Iswingping, Stroller, great effort.
- C-10 please post pic of underside of Iswingping's truck... if that is allowed. I wanna see something...impressive build! — Traction-Event
- Agreed! It's great to see new faces doing well! As well as the veterans! — 72_Chevy_C10
Hey Guys,
Let me say, first off, Congrats Smitty and CCRider!! Great Job! Congrats also go to Aircooled...for his first Final Round appearance!
I really enjoyed this race...we had some seasoned veterans doing well and some newcomers also charging hard! Different tracks are going to be fun to watch because some of this racing was very close! I shortened my track by 40" for this race and I'll run the full length for the final event...even that might make a difference!
With that said, here is the first round of the Cops vs Robbers race...#1 cop vs #4 robber, etc...Enjoy...
And now, time for the Semis and Finals...
The cars will be headed to DadVBall next...this will be fun series to watch!
Here ya go, TE...

Not an aluminum chassis...stock chassis, with axle tubes . And I think the axle tubes might be shimmed up to lower the truck. Screwed together with tiny cap-head Allen crews...nice build, Iswingping!
- nice! — Traction-Event
- Sanded wheels — MoHasAFastCar
- I sure would like info on the size and details on cap-head allen's. Looks very nice!! — aircooled
can anyone find a microscope... i would like to know if the sanded wheel is really smoother, i think it may be rounder but may have FUR on the sanded surface...
- The wheels I am turning on the lathe are totally smooth, Smitty. — 72_Chevy_C10
- They look textured to me?? ( no scope, just eyeballing y'all photos.) — CrzyTrkrDude
- I sand the wheels to smooth over and imperfections, sprue marks, flash left over from molding process. — Traction-Event
great racing guys! The small screws I use were picked up from Copper State Nut and Bolt. I use both the 2-56 x 3/16 and the 3/8" Button Head Socket Cap Screws. The drill bit for that application is a #50, I believe. I like using the screws because I am repeatedly assembling and disassembling the cars to make sure they have no wheel rub and to get my weight as close to the limit without exceeding.
The truck isn't lowered, but I did radius the wheel wells to accommodate moving the wheel out as the casting has them tucked in pretty narrow. Clearly, it still needs a little more work to be on the top of the list:)
- Cool, I couldn't tell if it were lower. Good work! — 72_Chevy_C10
- not too shabby sir! — Traction-Event
- Thanks. I'm hoping the 64.4g plus the tallest FTE's work to my advantage. — iswingping
- Large wheel FTE's only come on a few castings... — Traction-Event
If not, I'm hoping the winner of my truck lets me enter it in the 2016 RLD Series race as the beginning of the year looks pretty busy for me already.
The cars are boxed up and we be going out today. I'll ad the tracking number when I have one...
Tracking # 9505 5113 5444 6011 5413 09
Congrats to Smitty and CCRider for winning the Robbers and Cops individual races! Congrats also to the Copers that put away the bad guys.
Close awesome racing and great job on the videos Chris! I'm looking forward to racing them this weekend. My computer is still down and not really having the expertise or equipment to do videos I'll do my best to provide a blow by blow description of the races.
