Corvette Summer 2018 - Bootleg Run, NC
The Corvette's are on their way back from Florida and the racing action at Gulf City Dragway, this is the final stop of Corvette Summer 2018...the Finale on Bootleg Run...some road course action to wrap-up this amazing Series Event here at Redline Derby.
Here is some Bracket Information heading into the Final Race...The Top 10 teams and their Best Car will be given one of the 10 byes into the 2nd Rd...# 1 is they've earned it and # 2 it will keep the points even for the last race starting the 2nd Rd for the Top 10 teams....1st Place is pretty much wrapped up as 9.81 Racing has been consistent and dominant...but it's still anybodies race for 2nd to 8th place!!!! So, it's going to be a Battle, as last race we saw 1/4 Mile Club move into the Top 10 with a Win at Gulf City Dragway and a strong showing at Quest Speedway...41-14 has closed the gap on the Lady of Speed and now Speed Force has closed the gap on 41-14...RLD has tied League of Speed...and Color Country and G-Force continue to Challenge for the SU Crew....and Mad Maddie is still in the mix and has raced well on Bootleg Run in the past...so, this is going to be a lot of Fun on a track that's Tuff to Tame!!!!

Brother vs Sisters as Go Go Maxzilla squares off against FireClaw Racing in Rd 1...and Husband vs Wife in Rd 1 as Wild Rose Racing draws 41-14 Racing....Bootleg Run awaits...and always has the Final say in any race...and Father vs Daughter as Speedzilla and LoS go toe to toe in an early battle between the Legion.
The Corvette's are back in NC after their battle in FL at Gulf City Dragway...and I must admit...it's somewhat Bittersweet knowing that this is the last race in the Series....but as Seger say's...."with Autumn closing In..."and more racing on the calender...RLD carries on into the final quater of 2018.
The Bracket is set and Bootleg Run will be up and running Thursday of next week...I'll get it dialed in and ready for the Vette's.....let's just hope the Vette's are ready for Bootleg Run...plan is to start racing Friday late afternoon...and a slight chance we might go Green Thursday night for the 1st half of Rd1.

Good luck to everyone in the final leg of corvette summer. This has been an amazing journey for the corvettes and I feel honoured to have raced against each and every one of you. Super excited to have our first go round on Bootleg Run. This is going to be amazing. See you all in the fast lane.
