Covering Open Windows
Ran into something recently and have read what I can find on the subject, but nothing to specific. Is there a method or common way to block/cover up an 'open' window? I have had a couple of builds recently that had open windows and one, I left it alone, and another I added some foam pieces from the electronic parts to block the window, but I wondered if there was a 'normal' way others block their windows that are default open with no glass (plastic) so they can add weight inside the car and not see the weight.
For my next car, I was thinking of cutting some plastic from the main line car package the size of the triangled window opening, then lightly E6000 the edge to hold it on the inside. Then add tape across the inside so none of it shows and maybe tighten the window plastic to the opening a bit securely.
Another idea was to cut some old screen material that I think I have somewhere and similary do the same thing with glue and tape to secure it inside the car.
Is there other methods or common ways I should be looking at so when these issues come up of closing off a window, I will know the go-to way that others have already solved as routine?
Would hate to re-invent the wheel when others just say do XYZ with ABC and "Bob''s your uncle!".

Either one of those ideas would work. I have some old patches from a screen door that sometimes get used as window mesh, mostly for my post-apocalytic builds. You could also cut a piece of foam to fit and simply paint it black to simulate windows, and then stuff weights underneath.
