Custom Sizzler racing?

I'm a little scared how deep this rabbit hole will go, but this little beauty was included in one of my Fat Tracks...

And from a quick search, I see that batteries are available and it looks like races is being raced. Does anyone know anything about this? Or, is anyone up for some Sizzler racing?

Do I take the blue pill or the red pill? :)

$25 for a fat track sizzlers set 6 years ago... gave it to my brother ... he and my niece played till after midnight... had a dozen cars and a dozen chargers... he hasn't touched it since...

Here is a link where we bought some batteries a year or so ago.Way better then the ones Mattel included. We were getting 300 plus laps .Put them in the reissue Target Sizzlers From 06 or so.Lots of fun,but then again I had a set when they 1st came out around 70 or so..You can do a search and get batteries  much cheaper then e-bay..

I just watched this video from the Vintage Track blog and my mind started going nuts...the possibilities and fun...but I'm guessing it's also more expensive.

But if there's enough folks with Sizzler tracks and cars, lets get something going for next year. I'd love to see RLD be a home for modded Sizzler racing too!
