Dammit, I did it again - cars rerunning

Well, I did it again. I didn't add cars to the retirement group after yesterday's results, soooo...both Side Kick and the Triumph will be racing again next weekend in the circuit tournaments. This doesn't mean much except that we'll have to pick 2 "filler" cars in the championship tournament at the end of the season.

And to the two guys that re-entered these cars...good job at paying attention!

Sorry. I think I'm going to have to make this an automatic thing next year so I don't forget! It's clearly a bad habit.

Can't we just have those two cars repicked? Don't really want to see the same cars winning again.

Yeah...I saw the Side Kick in the list of available cars to choose and purposefully didn't pick it because I figured it would be swapped out for an eligible car. I'd much rather the ineligible cars be taken out. (And apologies to whoever picked them, of course...)

Same here as we figured if we picked him, we would be asked to picked someone else before the races.

We would only have to choose two filler cars if these two won again right? I think there's a real good chance that the field of week three contains cars that can beat these two. Also, if you decide to pull these two cars out, there are still a couple of pretty fast cars left to pick. Perhaps my 80s Corvette and the Baja Bug with race-able wheels could be the fill-ins?

It won't matter if they don't win. If they do we'll have to pick two cars for the championship, probably the runner-ups. Since the brackets are already seeded they can't be removed. Hopefully they'll have some competition...lots of heavy cars in play this week so could be close.

Okay, so the week two champions will be going up against the new arrivals. Only makes the races that more interesting in my mind.

Sorry. I think I picked the Triumph. I just like that car and didn't even think twice about it. You can swap it out for another one. Its not like there's money on the line here.

So, I guess the lesson learned from this is...if Brian makes a mistake, take advantage of it or someone else will.

I don't blame anyone for picking those cars. It ain't cheating if the ref don't see it.
