Thought I'd post some more photos of El Diablo. This is just a great looking mod, IMO. Such a tiny little detail adds so much.
I also thought it was interesting how Smitty built this thing. I know he has a love for that Way 2 Fast chassis but never really knew why, shy of it being metal. But a look at the bottom of Diablo shows how he uses it and why it's a favorite.
If nothing else, this is a reminder that your cars don't have to be uniform. I know I try way too hard to use cars as-is without having to grind too much off of the chassis or anything, but you're not graded on construction, you're graded on speed. It don't have to be pretty and I forget that all too often. But here, Smitty proves you can built a beast of a car and it still have some style.
