Damn, that is some serious racing. I love the selling of stuff out the back of vans, bet we'd all find some deals there!
Gotta say, seeing all the action and cars and people is really inspiring. Thanks for sharing the photos.
I see that tank up there taking first place. I remember talk about the tank in the forums last year...mostly people having a hard time believing they are fast.
I don't know what brand that tank is but when it comes to those things I always see them with skinny wheels. If the body is all metal and square, and the tires are small but nice a free, I can see that being pretty speedy...good weight and less rubber on the road means less friction? But if I rolled into Indonesia with my Dodge Demon and saw it was going up against the tank, I would be super surprised when my Demon loses. ;P
But if I rolled into Indonesia with my Dodge Demon . . .
You built a Demon?
Are you holding out on us?

it's a matchbox tank, we race a stock matchbox category
Hey I found the thread where we discussed the Matchbox tank.

GspeedR posted a link to a story about "The Puerto Rican miniature car drag racing phenomenon".
In there they talk about how sought after and valuable those tanks are.
Racing world wide!
The race events you guys have seem to put ours to shame...what a RACE!!! So good seeing the crowds of people and the TV coverage...how long have you been doing this, and any pointers for the rest of us?

Rain or shine you guys cannot be stopped! Looks like a lot of fun. Good job getting it all organized.
